Scout Lookout is at the trail junction between the West Rim and Angels Landing trails. The lookout area is flat and safe, but the cliff here drops sheer to the Temple of Sinawava with no safety railing. The young lady shown here had walked unwittingly to the very brink then stopped abruptly. My shot caught her with hands raised in alarm as she looked over the edge, before abruptly backing away. The trail continuing from here to Angels Landing is famously vertiginous.
