The Landwasser Viaduct near Filisur in Switzerland is one of the most iconic structures of the Rhaetian Railway. Built in 1901–1902, the limestone bridge is 136 m long and 65 m high, spanning the deep Landwasser Valley with six arches before entering a tunnel in the vertical cliff. It carries the Albula line, part of the UNESCO World Heritage–listed Albula/Bernina route, and remains a masterpiece of alpine railway engineering and design.
