Headwaters Spring is located in Mount Shasta City Park in Mount Shasta City, California. This location at the base of Spring Hill marks the source of the Sacramento River which flows down to the San Francisco Bay Area. Many people come here to fill up their jugs w/ fresh water that has an underground residence time of 50 years.
