Saas-Fee is a small village situated 1800 m above sea level in an idyllic valley, the Saas Valley, surrounded by the highest mountains of the Swiss Alps in the Canton of Wallis. It is surrounded by 18 majestic mountains over 4,000 m high, with Allalinhorn (4,027 m) marking Saas-Fee's peak. Dom (4,545 m), the highest Swiss mountain whose base lies entirely within Swiss territory, belongs to the Mischabel group in Wallis and is the third highest peak in the Alps, after Mont Blanc and Monte Rosa.

Skiing is possible in Saas-Fee during both summer and autumn (though not suitable for beginners). The summer snow sports season opens in mid-July. Saas-Fee enjoys a mild and balanced climate, with approximately 300 days of sunshine per year, and a rich and colorful alpine flora.

With its unique landscape and fresh, clean alpine air—since there are no cars in the village—the glacial village enchants all visitors. Saas-Fee is called the Pearl of the Alps.

Skifahren ist in Saas-Fee sowohl im Sommer als auch im Herbst möglich (allerdings nicht für Anfänger geeignet). Die Wintersportsaison beginnt Mitte Juli. Saas-Fee genießt ein mildes und ausgeglichenes Klima mit rund 300 Sonnentagen im Jahr und eine reiche und farbenprächtige Alpenflora.

Mit seiner einzigartigen Landschaft und der frischen, klaren Alpenluft – da es im Dorf keine Autos gibt – verzaubert das Gletscherdorf jeden Besucher. Saas-Fee wird die Perle der Alpen genannt.

Em Saas Fee é possível fazer ski mesmo durante o verão e no outono, (não é adequado para iniciantes). A estância de desportos de neve de verão está aberta a partir de meados de julho. Saas-Fee desfruta de um clima ameno e equilibrado, com cerca de 300 dias de sol por ano, e uma flora alpina rica e colorida.

Com uma paisagem única, ar alpino fresco e limpo, pois não há carros na vila, a vila glaciar encanta todos os visitantes. Saas-Fee é chamada de Pérola dos Alpes.
