Niederer Zaun (2993 m)
Austria

The Niederer Zaun (literally: lower fence) is a 2993 m high secondary summit of the Großvenediger mountain (3657 m) in the Hohe Tauern National Park, East Tyrol, Austria. In this picture, once can see mountaineers putting on their glacier equipment and preparing to climb the summit of the Großvenediger over the extensive ice field of the Schlatenkees glacier.
