A 400' aerial view of Henley-on-Thames, England. As the name implies, the town is located on the River Thames with the Henley Bridge (built in 1786) spanning across to the main area. The first record of the town was in 1179 when King Henry II had "bought land for the making of buildings". As of 2021 the population was 12,186.
