Properly known as the Protestant Cemetery, this site contains the grave of Captain Francis Light, the founder of the British colony in Penang. It is a leafy, atmospheric site with weathered frangipani trees and ancient tombstones of early colonial officials. The view is a quiet step back into the late 18th century.
