The Morasko Meteorite Nature Reserve is located on the northern outskirts of the city of Poznan, Poland. There are a total of eight meteorite craters in this nature reserve. The smallest has a diameter of about 20 meters, while the largest (seen here) has a diameter of 96 meters, a depth of 12 meters and is partially filled with a lake. The craters were formed around 6400 BC by an iron meteorite with a total mass of about 1000 tons before entering the atmosphere.
