Crystal Mosque Kuala Terengganu
Malaysia

Officially known as Masjid Kristal, this is regarded as one of the most unique mosques in the world due to its futuristic superstructure made almost entirely of steel, glass, and crystal. Located on Wan Man Island within the Islamic Civilisation Park (Taman Tamadun Islam), it sits on the banks of the Terengganu River. Opened in 2008, the mosque was designed to reflect the river waters during the day and is illuminated by changing colored lights at night, symbolizing the purity and transparency of Islamic values.
