Covadonga El Santuario de Covadonga, donde los nobles visigodos dirigidos por don Pelayo iniciaron la reconquista de la Península Ibérica, es el máximo símbolo de los Asturianos. En la Cueva se venera a 'La Santina', una imagen de la Virgen del siglo XVI que sustituye a la talla original, desaparecida en un incendio en 1777. La basílica neorrománica data de principios del siglo XX.
