Bachok Senok Beach
Malaysia
Pantai Senok is famously nicknamed the "Nami Island of Malaysia" because its landscape closely resembles the iconic pine-lined paths of Nami Island in South Korea, made famous by the Korean drama Winter Sonata. However, the trees were not originally planted for tourism. They were a collaborative environmental project initiated by the Forestry Department and other local agencies to create a natural bioshield against coastal erosion and seasonal flooding. Over the years, the trees matured into a dense, tall forest, transforming the area into a popular destination for wedding photography, family picnics, and travelers seeking a serene escape from city life.
