Wat Phothivihan
Malaysia
This is perhaps the most famous of the Tumpat temples, home to the Sleeping Buddha (Reclining Buddha). At 40 meters long, it was once one of the largest reclining Buddhas in Southeast Asia. Built in 1973, the statue represents the Buddha entering Nirvana. The complex also includes a Wheel of Dhamma and a Chinese-style pavilion.
